Spring is a season of movement — but not all movement is aligned movement.

As energy continues rising outward, many people begin noticing a stronger awareness of what feels true, what feels forced, and what no longer feels sustainable. What remained quieter in Winter may now surface as restlessness, internal tension, disconnection, or the sense of moving without deeper meaning.

May represents the Spirit phase of Spring — the time when direction, purpose, and authentic expression come into focus. In Classical Chinese Medicine, this relates to the Hun, the aspect of consciousness associated with vision, imagination, creativity, and movement toward the future. When Spring energy moves in alignment, the spirit feels inspired, connected, and clear. When movement becomes fragmented or disconnected from inner truth, frustration, urgency, and exhaustion can arise.
